We’re just not getting enough attendance at the weekly meetings, so Sunday meetings are canceled until further notice. I will post here if there if we start them up again or set up a new meeting night.

I probably should have posted this earlier, but I think it goes without saying that we’re not having a meeting today.

Rob and I renewed our series at yesterday’s meeting after a hiatus. Rob took the game by resignation, bringing the series to a draw at six games apiece. Vicki, Josh K. and Kevin traded a number of 9×9 games, and Josh K. and Kevin played a couple of their first 19×19 handicap games against me.

We’re going to be debuting a new club ranking system for handling handicaps over the coming weeks, so be sure to show up to the meetings to establish your rank.

Regulars Nate and Josh K. exchanged several small-board handicap games and I beat Nate in a six stone game. We also had a new beginner, Victoria, who played several 9×9 games.

I’ve posted the games Rob and I played against Wayne in the extended entry.

Today’s meeting was a bit quieter than last week. Libby and Jack from Wisconsin are headed back home, but were able to show for one more meeting. I got to play Jack in a very bloody game, and Libby played Josh K. in a couple 13×13 handicap games. Also, Rob finally broke my streak against him (game record posted in the extended entry).

Remember, we meet every Sunday afternoon at Books-a-Million in Fort Myers.
