Grand Prix
- One point is awarded for each game played with an additional point for each win.
- 19×19 games played at the club (with appropriate handicaps) count toward the Grand Prix, as do any games played at Fort Myers Go tournaments.
- Only the first two such games each week for each player may be counted.
- For beginners who are not yet ready for 19×19 board, 13×13 or 9×9 games may be counted.
- If an odd number of players or wide rank differences keep you from getting an appropriate match-up, but you are still able to attend most of the meeting, you still earn participation points.
- Games are played under AGA rules. If possible, time limits should be at least 20 minutes plus 5x:20 byo-yomi (shorter, obviously, for small board games). Faster games can also be counted if time is short, but not blitz games. Please bring your clock if you have one.
- Points for the 2010 Grand Prix will start accumulating with the January 3rd meeting.
- After six months, prizes will be awarded to point leaders.
- Club organizers (currently Tom Schumm, Rob Cheyne and Josh Frye) are not eligible to win.
